Christmas 2015

Did not get a summer post done and here it is Christmas again and my annual Christmas letter.

Merry Christmas and Happy 2016
Days are long, but years are short!!  How true that little saying is because it doesn’t seem possible that I am writing my annual Christmas letter.  Lee and I continue to be healthy and busy and for that we are thankful.  Both of us are active in East Coke County Ambulance Service (many of the people that we pick up are younger than we are!!), retired teachers, nursing home auxiliary and church.  Lee is still on the nursing home board and Bronte Economic Development Board.  And he still keeps the Playground looking like a park.  I still sub in Bronte and Blackwell—think I will go for the oldest sub on record—hope to make it until I am 80!!  Also, I have study club, book club and a Red Hat group.  Phew!!  Nearly makes me tired writing all of that down for both of us.

We had a wonderful time and even managed to get a few pictures made---

There have been some changes in our kids’ lives—
LeAnn is teaching 8th grade science at Brewer Middle School in White Settlement—new school and new subject.  Ryan is still Assistant Principal at H.F. Stevens Middle School in Crowley.  Anna is in the 6th grade and Ada is in the 4th grade at St. Peter’s Classical School.   They both go to gymnastics once a week and their energy never ceases to amaze me.
Jim is still Associate Principal at Big Spring Junior High.  Carman is multi classroom leader at Goliad Elementary—new school and new position.  Jordan is a freshman at Big Spring High School and participates in cross country and  golf and math and science UIL activities.  Carter is in Kindergarten at Goliad Elementary.
Our “babies” are growing up.  That is what we want, but it is hard for them to outgrow our laps.
We thank God for the wonderful privilege and freedom to celebrate our Savior’s birthday.  Please join us in praying for the leaders of our country and the leaders of the world.  What a turmoil we are in!!  Only God can solve the problems in our country and world.
We’d love to see you or at least hear from you-- -
